Rose-Anne Kumpunen has enjoyed art in a variety of media throughout her life. Growing up as the youngest of five children, Risto Turunen's sister, and the youngest daugter to very artistic parents (father was a photography buff and mother dabbled in a little bit of everything), she was exposed to their art influences and preferences on a regular basis. And growing up roaming the forests of Muskoka at their family cottage, she developed a great love of nature. So it was not a surprise that she too decided to pick up a camera from time to time to capture the beauty that surrounds us all in nature.

Her photography works takes us around Canada and the United States on her many voyages with her own family -- much of which was experienced in a RV going from the tip of L'Anse aux Meadows in Newfoundland, to the tip of the Florida Keys.

Currently Rose-Anne resides in Oshawa, Ontario with her husband, daughter, son and 3 cats (along with the occassional stray).
